This songs' lyrics like most of our songs were done on the fly by Dennis. It was late 99' and the sky was gray looking out of my 3rd story apartment in Sacile. It felt christmasy in a Northern Italian sort of way. The beat fell in, rhythm followed and he started singing. The rest is his story.
Dennis swears he doesn't know where he came up with Cynthia Jones. I tend to believe him as he doesn't lie. Period. He's not like normal people.
Again, Dennis is nuts. I have no idea where he gets his ideas, nor his lead. With the limited mixing stuff he has, it's a miracle the stuff sounds as good as it does.
Christmas is a pretty inspiring time for the Thrust Puppies. Mainly because it's the only time of year where we both have some time off. Beat 6 was the beat we used off my yamaha keyboard for the drums.
Dennis came up with the hook on this. This is nice, he's got some good harmonica things going on. We did this late September 2000.
Alright, I did this one. I got the lyrics from this girl I was writing while I was doing my time in Tuzla. She was in prison at the time. That's a great story. She'd send me these 30 sometimes 40 page letters. One day I got this poem and flowed nice so I put on my machine. I like my solo. The lyrics are real nice too.
This is about as heavy metal as Thrust Puppies can get. I love the drums at the beginning leading into the rhythm.
I love this for simplicities sake. Lite everything.
